Circuit Flow

Route the signal. Power the board.

A wire-routing puzzle game on a circuit board. Draw traces from the edge of the board to the parts that need power, and get every colour where it belongs without crossing a wire.

The game

Get the right current to every part

LEDs, speakers, fans and displays each wait for a signal of their own colour. Draw the traces, keep them apart, and the board powers up.

Later boards add resistors that change a signal's colour, splitters that break a colour into its parts, and mixers that join two into a new one. Plan the whole route before you commit, because one wrong turn shorts the board.

Draw

Trace by trace

Start at the board edge and draw a path to the matching part. Early boards ask for a single colour. Later ones fill up with routes that all have to share the same space.

Mix

Change the colour on the way

Resistors, splitters and mixers change the signal as it passes. Getting the right colour to a part can mean building it out of two others somewhere along the route.

Finish

Fully charged, or a short circuit

Power every part and the board lights up. Cross the wrong wires and it shorts, and you try the board again.

Create

Design your own boards

The circuit designer lets you lay out puzzles of your own. When the hand-made boards are done, arcade mode deals out fresh ones.

Learn

A guide to real parts

An encyclopedia explains what each component does in real electronics, from capacitors and diodes to buzzers and seven-segment displays.
